Green tea is bottled and sold by several companies in the United States. It has become as common as Pepsi and Coca-Cola in vending machines and convenience stores. With market saturation overwhelming, you may be wondering what is the best green tea you can drink.
Green tea is a type of tea made from leaves of Camellia sinensis, or tea. It originated in China about 4,000 years ago and has since spread to Japan, Thailand and many other countries in the Middle East. The varieties differ not only the location but conditions growth as well. A significant change in weather from one year to another can influence the quality of tea. Each Tea takes its name from the province where it is grown.
Along with time, is how tea is made. Tea is grown on the estate and each property will have a specific grade of tea for the year. Many large-scale production mix teas from different areas and thus dilute the quality of green tea. For this reason, it is best to choose a single domain of green tea.
That being said, it may be difficult to find these types of teas and when you do, they can be extremely costly. As some of the following types:
1. One of the oldest and well known teas is the tea Pu-erh. Named for the county of Yunnan Puer Simmao near China. It is because of the wide leaf tea tree and exists in two forms: raw or cooked. Unlike many other forms of green tea, Puerh can be used immediately or aged for many years. The fact that it has such a shelf life make it one of the best green teas, but it is difficult to find authentic Pu-erh tea and when you do it will be very expensive.
2. Sencha Tea is another popular variety Green tea, which is a popular tea daily from Japan. Made from dark green flat leaves of this scented tea is loaded with vitamin C and antioxidants. Drinkers of this tea is also a presentation on the best green teas on the market taste and cost. However, due to brewing can be difficult, too long, or hot and it is bitter, it is not the best green tea.
3. Kou is Myou a variety of Japanese green tea which is thicker and has a much bolder flavor.

Green tea has many health benefits, weight loss, digestion, reduces blood pressure and cholesterol. Choosing the best green tea has more to do with a preference personal than anything else. As you can see on the small sample of green tea above, there are many varieties and each has a special flavor.
